You decide: a portico with or without the added embellishments?
Embellishing the portico

A portico crown—Do you feel, as I do, that there's something missing from the image at left? Could it be that Theodor Guggenberger just couldn't squeeze another masterful addition because he ran out of room on his original proscenium sheet? Whatever the reason, surely he wouldn't have minded this new, grander version of his original.

To provide just the right finishing touch for the roof of the new portico I inverted the band appearing just below the mythological motifs. (It had to be elongated (or shortened, using "transform") to fit just the lengths required.)

A center motif (right) crowns the portico, based on the original (left).
A new center motif—Essentially a copy of its two corner siblings, the new motifs adds just the right finishing touch to the portico's roofline. The addition of a couple scrolls makes it conform the sloped angle of the roof as shown at right.

Infinite possibilities—The two new designs used to embellish the Portico's triangular attic are good examples of the infinite embellishment possibilities inherent in Guggenberger's masterful design. Let your imagination run wild, but stay within the spirit of the original!
