Using the guide marks, cut out the narrow strip where each of the figure panels will fit.

Now fold the Left and Right side walls and each of their tabs. Scoring makes folding makes this task much easier, but you still may have to hold a metal ruler against the scoring line as you're folding each wall. Repeat the same procedure for each of the two tabs, folding them toward each other.

Place the manger on a smooth surface as shown in the image at left, and insert the figure panels into the left walls cut-out slots.

All three panels are shown in the image here, but you'll attach each panel one at a time. Begin with panel three, the Virgin and Child. Gluing it while resting the whole assembly on a flat surface as shown will insure that your creche will be alligned—and fold properly. Repeat for panels 2, and 3.
